ME News reports that on October 10 (UTC+8), John Koudounis, President and CEO of asset management firm Calamos Investments, reaffirmed his long-term bullish outlook on Bitcoin, expecting BTC to eventually rise above $1 million. Koudounis previously put forth this target at a Bitcoin event in Abu Dhabi, estimating its realization by 2030; he now maintains this projection but acknowledges that Bitcoin may not reach this level before 2030. Koudounis believes blockchain will become a vital component of future financial infrastructure. Unlike traditional cross-border bank transfers, which can be delayed over weekends, the Bitcoin network operates 24/7 year-round. He also noted that global financial advisors manage approximately $146 trillion in assets; as more banks adopt Bitcoin and offer collateralized lending services, even a small allocation of BTC in investment portfolios could generate significant new demand. Koudounis, once dubbed Wall Street’s youngest CEO, currently leads Calamos Investments, which manages about $50 billion in client assets. The firm also offers Bitcoin-related ETFs and Bitcoin investment products with downside protection mechanisms. These views represent his personal market assessment and are not a guarantee of BTC’s price performance. (Source: BlockBeats)
