ME News reports that on April 7 (UTC+8), according to 1M AI News monitoring, ByteDance’s agent platform Coze has launched Coze 2.5, introducing a new ecosystem called "Agent World" that enables AI Agents to move beyond chat interfaces and operate with independent execution environments, skills, and personalities, becoming autonomous digital companions capable of collaboration and growth.
Coze 2.5 provides three core supports for Agents:
"Full equipment setup": Includes "dedicated cloud devices" (cloud computer and cloud phone) that enable the Agent to operate computers and smartphones independently, as well as a "personal workspace" (schedule and cloud storage) for continuous 7×24 background operation.
“Full Skill Set”: Expertise in video creation, programming (Kozi CLI), and industry-specific skills in law, finance, and more.
“Full Personality,” enabling the Agent to possess manageable memories and a “digital social ID” through long-term memory and an independent email identity.
Coze mentioned in its announcement the vision of an open ecosystem for "Agent World," where Agents can learn skills and engage in social interactions, aiming to build a digital society in which AI Agents can act independently, grow continuously, and collaborate with one another, turning every user idea into digital action.(Source: Coze)
