Huo Xing Finance reports that on September 8, according to TradingBeats monitoring, the large whale previously tracked on Hyperliquid with the address starting in 0xf517 has readjusted its previous BTC pullback accumulation strategy. On September 2, this address had placed three-tier buy orders totaling approximately $76.88 million between $71,111 and $75,777, aiming to purchase $76 million worth of BTC, while simultaneously setting up a profit-taking grid of $70 million above. However, BTC prices rose directly, leaving all three tiers of the original buy orders unfilled; these orders were fully canceled on September 4. Now, this whale has significantly raised its accumulation level: it currently holds only a single buy order of 956.85 BTC at $77,888, valued at approximately $74.527 million—about $2,111 (2.8%) higher than its previous highest acceptance price of $75,777. At today’s BTC price, only a 1.4% pullback would trigger this order. During the period of missed opportunities and position expansion, the whale has also slightly realized profits from its existing holdings, cumulatively taking profit on 28.05 BTC for a gain of only about $64,000. Current holdings have been reduced to 78.31 BTC, representing a position cut of approximately 26.4%. However, the original profit-taking plan above remains unchanged: a “partial position reduction” sell order of approximately $6.96 million still stands at $88,888, and there are 163 additional sell orders totaling around $70.32 million between $84,509 and $108,720. Previous report: A BTC whale deployed a $158 million order to pre-position for a “bull market,” with a bullish outlook targeting $100,000 for Bitcoin.
