Brazil’s under-24 investors led crypto adoption in 2025, favoring stablecoins and tokenized income over speculative trading. Tokenized fixed-income products on Mercado Bitcoin doubled in activity, distributing 1.8B reais in returns. Regulatory clarity and stablecoin growth shifted user behavior toward savings-style accounts. Young investors increasingly use crypto for predictable returns, with 132% of Brazil’s CDI benchmark achieved on average. Middle-income users allocated up to 12% to stablecoins, while lower-income users favored traditional crypto for higher risk. Brazil’s central bank introduced new crypto licensing rules, aligning with EU Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation and improving liquidity and crypto markets.
