According to MarsBit, BMW AG has started using JPMorgan's blockchain-based Kinexys platform to automate part of its foreign exchange transactions. The system automatically transfers euros from its Frankfurt account to its New York dollar account when the balance falls below a set threshold, aiming to streamline cross-border payments worth billions of dollars.
