PANews, May 12: According to Bloomberg, blockchain analytics firm Elliptic has completed a new funding round of $1.2 billion, bringing its latest valuation to approximately $670 million. The round was led by investment firm One Peak Partners, with participation from Deutsche Bank, Nasdaq’s venture capital arm, and the British Business Bank. Existing shareholders, including JPMorgan Chase, also continued to invest. Founded in 2013, Elliptic provides financial institutions and law enforcement agencies with tools for monitoring cryptocurrency transactions and ensuring AML and sanctions compliance. The company currently screens over one billion transactions weekly for more than 700 clients, supporting the compliance operations of major banks, asset managers, and fintech companies in their digital asset businesses.
