Derived from Coindesk, BlackRock’s bitcoin ETFs have become the firm’s most profitable product line, with the U.S.-listed IBIT reaching $70.7 billion in net assets and generating an estimated $245 million in annual fees by October 2025. The ETF, launched in January 2024, became the fastest in history to reach $70 billion in assets, achieving the milestone in 341 days. BlackRock’s global distribution network and institutional interest following U.S. regulatory approval have fueled the growth, with the firm now holding over 3% of bitcoin’s total supply.
