Bitmine disclosed that over the past week, the company added 52,203 ETH to its holdings, bringing its total Ethereum position to 5,672,956 ETH. Based on the reference price of $1,733 per ETH as of June 21, this holding is valued at approximately $98.3 billion, representing about 4.7% of the 120.7 million ETH in circulation.
This company remains one of the largest corporate treasuries holding ETH. Its current holdings are nearing the target level of 5% of Ethereum’s circulating supply. Chairman Tom Lee maintains his previous assessment that the crypto market is still in an early recovery phase.
Position approaching 5% target
The company stated that, in addition to ETH, its treasury includes 205 bitcoins, approximately $6.01 billion in cash and tradable securities, and equity investments in Beast Industries and Eightco Holdings. According to the disclosed figures, the total value of the company’s crypto assets, cash, and securities amounts to $10.7 billion.
Bitmine links its Ethereum configuration logic to tokenization, AI-powered payments, and the demand for decentralized infrastructure. The company believes that as tokenization of real-world assets and AI-related payments continue to expand, demand for on-chain settlement and crypto assets will also grow.
More than 80% of assets are staked
The company disclosed that 4,718,677 ETH have been staked, valued at approximately $8.2 billion based on a price of $1,733 per ETH, accounting for over 83% of its total ETH holdings. Bitmine stated that this staked asset base is a key source of its revenue structure.
Based on current scale, the company estimates an annualized staking revenue of approximately $223 million. If a higher percentage of ETH staking is subsequently achieved through its U.S.-based validator network, MAVAN, and other partners, the potential annualized staking rewards could rise to approximately $268 million.
Tom Lee maintains an optimistic outlook.
Tom Lee stated that the recent decline in ETH has not altered the company’s outlook for the medium- to long-term market. The company still expects to reach its target of holding 5% of Ethereum’s circulating supply at some point in 2026.
Additional information: The original text also mentions that market analysts are monitoring ETH’s short-term price movement, particularly whether it can hold support at key moving averages.
