Bitmine Immersion Technologies is rapidly expanding its Ethereum position, bringing its holdings to 5.82 million ETH. The company now controls 4.8% of Ethereum supply, putting its 5% target within reach. With most holdings staked, Bitmine is also positioning itself to generate significant revenue while maintaining heavy exposure to ETH price movements.

Bitmine Ethereum Treasury Reaches 4.8% of ETH Supply as Holdings Rise

In a press release, Bitmine Immersion Technologies said it has expanded its Bitmine Ethereum Treasury to 5,815,164 ETH. The position represents 4.8% of Ethereum supply and is worth about $11 billion.

ETH traded above $1,900 on Monday, while Bitmine added another 9,926 ETH during the week. The latest purchase moves the company 96% toward its 5% target.

The company has bought ETH every week since launching its strategy in June 2025. Its growing Ethereum treasury now ranks as the largest corporate ETH holding globally. It also ranks second among corporate crypto treasuries, behind Strategy’s bitcoin holdings.

Bitmine Ethereum Treasury Staking Strategy Adds Revenue Potential

More than 5 million ETH, or about 87% of the Bitmine Ethereum Treasury, is currently staked. Bitmine reported 5,067,309 staked ETH valued near $9.6 billion. The company projects annualized staking revenue of about $250 million.

Bitmine also holds 210 BTC, a $180 million stake in Beast Industries, and $73 million in Eightco Holdings. Cash and marketable securities stood at $78 million.

That figure fell sharply from $482 million reported five weeks earlier. The company did not disclose how much of the decline funded ETH purchases or share repurchases.

Bitmine repurchased 1.7 million shares during the latest week. Total repurchases have reached 20.8 million shares since July 1. The program operates under a previously authorized $4 billion buyback plan.

Chairman Tom Lee also pointed to the ETH/BTC ratio at 0.02994. He said it moved above a long-term downtrend. Lee linked the shift to tokenization and growing agentic-AI applications on blockchains.
