BitMine added 30,075 ETH from FalconX on December 18, 2025, valued at $88.73 million. The ETH price dropped to a two-week low of $2,775 during the purchase. With this acquisition, BitMine now holds over 4 million ETH, or more than 3.3% of the total supply. Arkham data shows the firm has bought at least $229 million in ETH this week. The buying spree supports its goal to reach a 5% stake ahead of the 2026 MAVAN launch. ETH analysis suggests the firm aims to generate $400 million in annual staking revenue from the target position.
