As reported by Coinpedia, BitMEX co-founder Arthur Hayes has warned that Monad's native token MON could crash by 99%, calling it a high-FDV, low-circulating-supply setup designed to trap retail investors. Hayes criticized the token economics, stating that the structure benefits insiders and VCs, who are likely to sell at peak hype. He also dismissed the idea that Monad can challenge Ethereum or even catch up to Solana in real-world adoption. MON has already dropped 25% from its peak price of $0.0487 to around $0.036.
