Bitdeer’s subsidiary, Tydal Data Center AS, has signed a 16-year data center hosting and services agreement with Volta Tydal AS to provide 121 MW of IT load capacity at the Tydal AI/HPC campus in Norway for the deployment of NVIDIA GPUs. The total expected contract payments during the initial term are approximately $4.7 billion, with an optional 8-year extension that could increase the potential total contract value to approximately $8 billion. Bitdeer anticipates remaining capital expenditures of about $500 million for the project, to be funded through new debt financing. Bitdeer’s stock price rose 23%.
