Bitcoin whales accumulated 16,010 BTC during a five-day decline toward $80,000, while long-term holder profits recovered above their yearly average. Analyst Ali Charts identified $84,569 as the resistance level Bitcoin must clear before targeting $89,000 and $94,000. Meanwhile, Darkfost reported improving profitability among long-term holders, with weekly and monthly readings exceeding the annual average.

Bitcoin Whales Accumulate During the Price Decline

According to Ali Charts, whale holdings increased from 5,247,316 BTC to 5,263,326 BTC over five days. The 0.305% increase occurred as Bitcoin fell from $87,000 toward $80,000. Ali Charts said the accumulation could support a rebound, although Bitcoin must first overcome a major supply zone.

On-chain data shows nearly 800,000 BTC previously traded around $84,569. That level represents the first major hurdle in the analyst’s recovery scenario. If Bitcoin breaks above $84,569, Ali Charts is watching for a move toward $89,000, followed by $94,000.

The targets correspond to the rising channel’s mid-range and upper boundary, respectively. However, the analyst said price action must confirm the significance of whale buying.

Long-Term Bitcoin Holder Profits Recover

Darkfost reported that Bitcoin’s long-term holder Spent Output Profit Ratio, or LTH SOPR, moved above its yearly average of 1.10 and remained there. The metric measures whether holders sell coins at a profit or loss.

A reading of 1.10 corresponds to an average realized profit of approximately 10%. Darkfost placed the weekly average at 1.25 and the monthly average at 1.16. Both readings exceed the yearly average, indicating higher realized profits across those periods.

SOPR Reaches Levels Above Its Yearly Average

Darkfost said improving market conditions have returned profits to long-term Bitcoin holders. He also compared the development with the previous bear market, when renewed profits among long-term holders marked its end.

The analyst described moderate market profits as positive, noting they can encourage investors to expect further gains.

Meanwhile, Ali Charts’ outlook depends on Bitcoin clearing $84,569 and holding the rising channel’s support. His upside targets remain $89,000 and $94,000, while the whale accumulation data covers the recent five-day decline.
