Citing Bijié Wǎng, Vanguard’s decision to allow trading of Bitcoin ETFs on its platform has driven Bitcoin’s price to rise nearly 8% in the past 24 hours, surpassing $92,000. Altcoins such as Pudgy Penguins (PENGU), Sui (SUI), and Pump.fun (PUMP) also saw double-digit gains. The U.S.-based asset manager, which oversees over $11 trillion in assets, announced the move on Tuesday, triggering a surge in institutional demand, as evidenced by over $10 billion in trading volume for BlackRock’s IBIT within the first 30 minutes of trading.
