Bitcoin spot ETFs saw $381M in ETF inflows for the week ending July 10, the first positive month since April. BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) led with $292M in inflows. Bitcoin closed July up 8%, its strongest monthly gain since April 2025. Total inflows into Bitcoin ETFs since January 2024 now exceed $52B.

After two months of investors heading for the exits, Bitcoin spot ETFs just had a week that suggests the mood has shifted. Net inflows hit $381 million, with buying accelerating as Bitcoin’s price hovered near $64,000.

The outflow streak is over

Bitcoin spot ETFs had just endured an eight-week streak of net outflows, a period that drained capital and shook confidence in the post-ETF-launch narrative.

July changed the equation. The month recorded somewhere between $381 million and $403 million in total net inflows, making it the first positive month since April. For the first time in roughly three months, more money flowed into Bitcoin ETFs than flowed out.

BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust, known by its ticker IBIT, did a lot of the heavy lifting. The fund alone pulled in $292 million during a single week, accounting for a dominant share of the overall inflows.

Weekly inflows for the period ending July 10 came in at $197 million, building momentum that carried through the rest of the month.

Bitcoin’s quiet outperformance

Bitcoin spent July trading in a range between $58,000 and $65,000, ultimately closing the month up approximately 8%. That’s the strongest monthly gain since April 2025. Major equity indexes were declining during the same period.

The bigger picture: $52 billion and counting

Total net inflows into Bitcoin spot ETFs since their launch in January 2024 have now surpassed $52 billion as of early August 2026. It took gold ETFs years to accumulate comparable inflows after their debut. Bitcoin ETFs got there in roughly 30 months, despite multiple periods of significant outflows and price volatility along the way.

What this means for investors

BlackRock’s outsized role in the inflow data means the competitive landscape among ETF issuers is consolidating. IBIT’s $292 million weekly haul dwarfs what most competitors are pulling in.

The eight-week outflow streak that preceded this recovery is a reminder that sentiment can reverse quickly. Regulatory developments remain a wildcard, and any shift in the macro environment that strengthens the dollar or raises real yields could pressure both Bitcoin’s price and ETF demand.
