Odaily Planet Daily reports, according to Axel Adler Jr.'s monitoring, short-term Bitcoin holders continue to transfer tokens to exchanges at a loss. On October 27, the 24-hour net inflow balance for the "short-term holder net profit" indicator was -18,600 BTC, meaning losses exceeded profits by 18,600 BTC; one week prior, the balance was +10,400 BTC. On October 26, the balance dropped to -23,100 BTC, and although it has since narrowed, it remains negative—a trend that has persisted since August this year. This metric tracks exchange inflows from holders who have held their tokens for less than six months; a negative value indicates that losses dominate inflows. As of the week ending October 27, the proportion of profitable inflows among short-term holder exchange transfers fell from 75% to 16%.
