PANews, August 3: CryptoQuant analyst Zizcrypto stated that the current percentage of unrealized losses for Bitcoin is 35.2%, meaning approximately 35% of the tracked supply is currently underwater. While this metric remains above 20%, it has now fallen below the deep pressure zone of >40% and is far below the capitulation-level region of >60%. The metric breached 40% around the end of June, reaching 42.2%, then dropped to 30.4% around July 21 before rebounding to 35.2%. In previous major bear market phases shown on the chart, a first test above the >40% level is typically followed by a period of pressured consolidation, after which the metric often moves closer to or exceeds 60%, a point frequently associated with capitulation-style declines.
