According to ChainCatcher, the volunteer security audit team Bitcoin Red Team, composed of Bitcoin developers and security researchers, has released its latest audit findings: within approximately 30 hours, the team reviewed 391 Bitcoin-related code repositories and identified 4,962 security issues, including 720 classified as high-risk or critical vulnerabilities, with only one repository found to have no issues whatsoever. To date, only 147 of these vulnerabilities have been reported to project maintainers. Bitcoin Red Team was formed following the Coldcard hardware wallet vulnerability incident and is led by key figures including Calle, developer of the Cashu protocol.
