Bitcoin news shows mining fee revenue remains below 1%, averaging 0.64% of miner income over the past 30 days, according to Axel Adler Jr. of CryptoQuant. Bitcoin analysis reveals fees have contributed little to profitability, with new Bitcoin issuance still the primary revenue source. Despite Bitcoin’s price rising to $84,000, older miners struggle with high electricity costs. Total costs also include equipment, cooling, and maintenance. The low share of fees does not signal widespread miner shutdowns or reserve sales.

Odaily Planet Daily reports: Axel Adler Jr., an analyst at CryptoQuant, stated that over the past 30 days, Bitcoin transaction fee revenue averaged 0.64% of miners’ total income, down from 0.65% the previous week, and has remained below 1% since mid-August 2025. Miners’ income still primarily comes from newly issued Bitcoin, with fees contributing only marginally to profitability. Despite Bitcoin’s price rebounding from approximately $59,000 to $84,000, older mining rigs continue to face significant profit pressure under current electricity rates. These costs account only for electricity expenses and exclude other expenditures such as mining equipment purchases, cooling infrastructure, and maintenance. A fee revenue share below 1% does not directly indicate widespread miner shutdowns or large-scale selling of reserves.
