Odaily Planet Daily reports: Bitcoin mining difficulty has now been below the historical high of 155.97T, set on October 29, 2025, for 374 consecutive days, setting a new all-time record for the longest duration in Bitcoin network history, surpassing the previous records of 364 days after the 2011 market crash and 253 days after China’s 2021 mining ban.
Economist Saifedean Ammous stated that even the 95% price correction in Bitcoin in 2011 and China’s 2021 mining ban did not result in such a prolonged period of low mining difficulty.
Data shows that Bitcoin mining difficulty dropped to 124.93T in mid-June 2026, a decrease of approximately 20% from its peak, before rebounding to 148.36T in October. However, Mempool.space predicts that the next difficulty adjustment will occur around November 13, potentially lowering the difficulty by another 3.7%. (Bitcoin.com)
