Citing Criptonoticias, Bitcoin has attracted $732 billion in new capital during its current market cycle (2022–2025), surpassing the total from all previous cycles combined. Data from Glassnode shows that this cycle has seen significantly higher inflows compared to past cycles, which totaled $4.4 billion (2011–2015), $86 billion (2015–2018), and $388 billion (2018–2022). The growth is attributed to institutional adoption and the availability of regulated vehicles like Bitcoin ETFs. The realized capitalization of Bitcoin has also reached a record high of $1.1 trillion, driven by monthly inflows exceeding $100 billion at peak moments. Additionally, the report highlights a shift in on-chain activity, with a decline in daily active entities from 240,000 to 170,000 as investors increasingly channel funds through regulated instruments. Despite this, Bitcoin’s network processed $6.9 trillion in total volume over the last 90 days, outperforming major payment processors like Visa and Mastercard.
