Based on Bijié Wǎng, Bitcoin fell over 3% to around $87,000, Ethereum dropped 5%, and major altcoins declined more than 4% on Monday. The decline followed an alert from Yearn Finance about a 'event' in its yETH liquidity pool, which triggered market panic. The attack involved a single transaction minting a large amount of yETH, draining liquidity pools worth around 1,000 ETH ($3 million), with funds distributed via a mixer. Yearn confirmed its V2 and V3 vaults remain secure.
