Bitcoin ETF IBIT Surpasses VOO in Trading Volume as BTC Rises 6%

According to Coindesk, Bitcoin BTC$91,602.04 rebounded about 6% in 24 hours, driving heavy trading in crypto ETFs. BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) saw $3.7 billion in volume on Tuesday, surpassing Vanguard’s S&P 500 ETF (VOO) at $3.28 billion. The surge followed Vanguard’s decision to allow bitcoin ETFs on its platform. IBIT now holds $66.3 billion in net assets and is BlackRock’s top-grossing ETF. Meanwhile, crypto stocks like MSTR and HOOD rose, while mining stocks IREN and CIFR fell sharply.
