Odaily Planet Daily reports that Darkfost posted on X that Bitcoin’s apparent demand has clearly improved but remains negative at -32,000 BTC. When Bitcoin entered this new consolidation range in early June, apparent demand was estimated at -272,000 BTC. Darkfost noted that a similar pattern occurred in February and May 2026, after which demand weakened again. This may be related to a decline in average mining volume due to reduced hash rate and lower production.

Bitcoin's apparent demand rose to -3.2K BTC from -272K BTC in June, according to Darkfost on X. Hash function efficiency may have improved, with similar trends observed in February and May 2026. Reduced mining node activity due to lower hash rates could explain the weaker demand during those periods.
