The CMC Crypto Fear and Greed Index (CMC CFGI) and the alternative.me index both show readings of 10 and 11 out of 100, respectively, indicating 'extreme fear' among investors. This marks the lowest level since June 2023. Historical data shows similar drops in 2011, 2013, 2017, 2021, and now in the ongoing 2024–2025 cycle. Both indexes suggest the market may be undervalued, with sentiment often normalizing and prices reverting to the mean after such extremes.
