In accordance with Chainthink, Bit Digital (NASDAQ: BTBT), an Ethereum treasury company, has completed the acquisition of a controlling stake in Financière Marjos, a company listed on Euronext. The acquisition includes taking over the general partner Financière Louis David (15.9% stake) and directly acquiring 9.1% of shares, totaling 25% equity. The company plans to develop a digital asset treasury strategy, direct investments, and AI infrastructure expansion around Ethereum, and intends to rebrand as Bit Digital Europe. Management stated that the move will bring a major U.S. crypto treasury participant into the Paris market, strengthening the European digital asset ecosystem.
