This amount is roughly four times the $285 billion in recognized lease liabilities currently held by the five companies. Oracle’s uncommenced lease commitments amount to $260 billion, nearly seven times its $37.89 billion in recognized lease liabilities. Microsoft, Meta, Alphabet, and Amazon have uncommenced lease commitments of $32.91 billion, $27.899 billion, $85.2 billion, and $13.721 billion, respectively. Meta’s signing of a $68 billion data center lease agreement in July increased the total known related commitments of the five companies to approximately $1.16 trillion. These leases are expected to commence between fiscal years 2027 and 2029, with lease terms ranging from 15 to 19 years.
