Base Chain’s MCP has launched, bringing AI-powered crypto news to the on-chain news space. Users can now link their Base accounts to an AI interface for swaps, transfers, and portfolio tracking. The tool integrates with Morpho, Moonwell, and Uniswap, covering lending, swapping, and perpetual contracts. All AI-initiated actions require manual confirmation. OAuth 2.1 handles authentication, and private keys are never stored.

Odaily Planet Daily report: According to official announcements, the Base chain MCP has officially launched. Users can connect their Base accounts to an AI interface to execute swaps, transfers, track portfolios, and participate in the Base ecosystem via chat. The service is live with support for Morpho, Moonwell, Aerodrome, Bankr, Avantis, Virtuals, and Uniswap, covering areas such as lending, swapping, and perpetual contracts.

Users can install and use Base accounts for authentication via MCP-supported AI clients. All transactions initiated by AI agents require manual confirmation or cancellation by the user. Base MCP builds authentication on the OAuth 2.1 standard, generating wallet request links through the stored request feature, and the MCP server does not hold or access user private keys.
