IT Home, October 10: The new mid-tower case CTE E660 MX from Thermaltake is now available on JD.com. Building on its core design features, such as 90-degree motherboard rotation, the case now supports back-mounted motherboards and is priced at 999 yuan.

The CTE E660 MX measures 558.5 x 270 x 513 mm and is available in three color options: Black, Snow White, and Racing Green. It features a right-angled full-view tempered glass side panel, continuing the design language of the Thermaltake CTE (Centralized Thermal Efficiency) series. By rotating the motherboard 90° and installing the rear I/O panel upward, it optimizes airflow pathways and enhances overall system cooling performance. The case supports motherboards from Mini-ITX to E-ATX sizes and includes dedicated cutouts for rear I/O panels compatible with Micro-ATX and ATX form factors.
The case supports a CPU cooler with a maximum height of 166 mm, a graphics card with a maximum length of 443.8 mm without a front radiator, and a maximum length of 415 mm with a front radiator installed. The power supply supports a maximum length of 220 mm.
For storage, the CTE E660 MX case features a dual-bay 3.5-inch hard drive cage in the rear compartment, plus an additional slot for either one 3.5-inch or two 2.5-inch drives.
In addition to the front panel, the CTE E660 MX has the following cooling compatibility:
- Top: Supports two 120mm fans; compatible with a 240mm radiator;
- Right side of the motherboard: Supports up to three 120 mm or 140 mm fans; compatible with 420 mm or 360 mm radiators;
- Rear: Supports three 120 or 140 mm fans; compatible with 420/360 mm radiators;
- Bottom: Supports three 120 or 140 mm fans; compatible with 420/360 mm split-loop liquid cooling radiators (IT之家 note: Does not support all-in-one liquid cooling radiators).
The I/O panel of the Thermaltake CTE E660 MX case is located at the top front right, featuring two USB 3.0 Type-A ports and one 10Gbps Type-C port, along with a pair of 3.5mm audio jacks.
