As per AiCoin, the Astria Network, built on Celestia, officially shut down its shared sequencer network on block 15,360,577 on December 2. Launched in 2023, the project aimed to provide decentralized sequencer solutions for L2 networks and had raised a total of $18 million in funding. The decision to fully exit the project was made due to limited adoption, gradual shutdown of key components, and development interruptions, though the specific reasons for the closure were not disclosed.
