PANews, September 9: Aptos has announced that its first Testnet state reset will be executed on October 7, at which point the Testnet will restart from a brand-new genesis block. All existing deployed contracts, test accounts, balances, and historical data will be cleared, requiring related applications to be redeployed. Aptos stated that the Testnet has processed over 10 billion transactions to date, with its state storage continuously growing; in accordance with AIP-147, periodic resets will be implemented to control storage scale. This operation will not affect the Mainnet or Devnet.
