CoinDesk reports:

Recently, high-quality AI token production service provider Approaching.AI completed its Series B funding, raising over RMB 1.3 billion; it has raised a total of RMB 2.4 billion this year. The company stated that several key operational metrics have grown more than tenfold within six months.

This round of financing is co-led by Zhejiang Finance Innovation, Xiaoshan Capital, ICBC Investment, Zhongguancun Science City, Xinglian Capital, and Qianjiang Century City. Participating investors include Yunchuang Capital, Hunan High-Tech Zongheng, Jiancheng Huake, Shenwan Innovation Investment, CITIC聚信, Zhuhai Science and Technology Industry Group, SenseTime, Wangsu Technology, Gansu Shuzhi, Changzhou Financial Holding, Yuanzhi Future, Qingzheng Xingzhu, and XiaoKa Capital. Existing shareholder Shangshi Capital also continued to invest.

This marks another significant funding round for Qujing Technology shortly after completing its Series A financing in July this year. As of October this year, the company has completed multiple funding rounds in 2026, accumulating a total fundraising amount of RMB 2.4 billion this year.

The funds raised in this round will be primarily invested in expanding high-quality AI token production, upgrading and iterating the ATaaS (Approaching.AI Token as a Service) platform, developing underlying inference technologies and new products, and enhancing commercial partnerships and delivery systems.

At the business level, Qujing Technology positions itself as a high-quality AI Token service provider. The company notes that during the early stages of the Token market, the industry’s supply side focused heavily on increasing the number of Tokens while neglecting service quality, rapidly expanding supply through coarse-grained scaling. As the industry’s focus shifts toward deploying agent-driven business闭环, and large models begin to support mission-critical production workflows, enterprises are now demanding production-grade performance from AI Tokens—requiring higher intelligence, lower response latency, faster output speeds, complete context retention, and service stability. As a result, the Token market is increasingly stratifying by quality.

According to the company’s definition, a high-quality AI Token is an AI Token service that is anchored in production-grade scenarios, offering high intelligence, low latency, high throughput, strong stability, along with scalable delivery capabilities and controllable overall costs.

On the technical roadmap, Qujing adheres to fewer models, deeper optimization, and higher quality, focusing on mainstream large models with clear market demand and broad applications, and advancing the practical implementation of technologies such as heterogeneous system collaboration, memory-for-computation substitution, and virtual-physical homomorphism.

In the domain of domestic computing power, the company has successively developed technical solutions including domestic Prefill-Decode (PD) heterogeneous collaboration, high-performance heterogeneous KV Cache conversion, and heterogeneous computing integration, all of which have been deployed in high-standard production environments. The company states that, in real production-grade settings, domestic chips now support trillion-parameter leading large models and enable scalable, high-quality AI token production, achieving an overall cost-performance ratio that surpasses the world’s most advanced computing power.

In terms of industry ecosystem, the company has partnered with companies such as SenseTime, Parallel Computing, Hongxin Electronics, Wangsu Technology, Moore Threads, Muxi Semiconductor, and TianShu Intelligent Chip.

Ai Zhiyuan, CEO of Qujing Technology, stated that the true barriers in the compute race are unit energy efficiency and commercial delivery capability, not scale. The company’s more than tenfold growth in six months validates the potential of its strategy focusing on fewer models and deeper optimization. In the future, the company will use this round of funding to expand production capacity and deepen domestic PD heterogeneity, supporting customers’ large-scale deployment with low-cost, high-quality AI token services.
