IT Home reported on October 14 that source @itspdfu posted a tweet on X today, citing code information from Apple’s official website, suggesting that the full-sized HomePod may support Siri AI in the future.
IT之家 visited Apple's China website and found that Apple has updated the text description for the full-size HomePod image, stating: "White HomePod, showcasing its full-size cylindrical design and seamless acoustic fabric exterior, with a multicolor halo lighting up on top to indicate Siri AI functionality."

The image description stating "a multicolor glow lights up at the top to indicate Siri AI functionality" suggests that the full-sized HomePod will support Siri AI in the future. Apple also stated that the HomePod mini 2 will feature Siri AI, but the functionality will not be enabled immediately upon release. Support will be rolled out in a "future software update."

On the HomePod mini 2, Siri AI requires pairing with an iPhone or iPad that supports Apple Intelligence to handle requests involving user personal context.
