ChainThink reports that on August 8, Apple's official website showed that Apple Intelligence can work in conjunction with Alibaba's Qwen model.
After the user grants permission, Siri can invoke Qwen for more in-depth responses in certain requests, including analysis related to photos and documents. The official website also states that Apple Intelligence’s writing tools can use Qwen to generate text or images based on descriptions.
On July 15, Apple Intelligence completed its first generative AI filing in China.
Qwen from Alibaba will be integrated as an AI capability into Apple Intelligence, providing Chinese users of iOS, iPadOS, macOS, and visionOS with services such as text and image understanding and content generation.
Baidu's AI capabilities will also be integrated into Apple Intelligence.
