U.S. government testimony indicated that the model has a potential narrow-scope, non-general jailbreak method. Anthropic complied with the government’s legal directive and removed all user access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5, but disagrees with the decision to retract the deployed commercial models due to the discovery of this narrow potential jailbreak, and is working to restore access as soon as possible.
