ChainCatcher report: According to on-chain analyst Yujin, a Bitcoin ancient mining address transferred 500 BTC, which had remained inactive for over a decade, approximately half an hour ago, valued at around $31.27 million. Data shows that these 500 BTC were consolidated from a mining address in 2013 and had not been moved for more than 13 years. At that time, Bitcoin’s price was approximately $1,020, making the 500 BTC worth about $510,000. It is noted that $1,020 was among the peak Bitcoin prices around 2013; the price did not surpass $1,000 again until 2017, meaning this address endured a holding period of roughly three to four years. Currently, the value of this BTC has increased approximately 60-fold since then.
