ChainCatcher report: American Bitcoin (Nasdaq ticker: ABTC) announced its second-quarter 2026 financial results, revealing that its Bitcoin reserve increased to approximately 8,002 BTC as of June 30, up by about 981 BTC from the end of the first quarter—a quarterly growth of approximately 14%. The amount of Bitcoin held per share rose by about 11%. During the period, the company mined approximately 932 BTC, setting a new record for quarterly production. Mining revenue reached approximately $67.02 million, an 8% sequential increase, with gross margin remaining around 50%. The average cost to mine one BTC was approximately $36,500, largely unchanged from the prior quarter. Mike Ho, CEO of American Bitcoin, stated that the company will continue to expand its mining infrastructure and strengthen its balance sheet to steadily increase its Bitcoin reserves. Eric Trump, Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer, noted that the company now holds over 8,000 BTC and operates one of the world’s largest Bitcoin mining platforms, maintaining strong confidence in Bitcoin’s long-term prospects.
