According to CoinDesk, Matt Prusak, President and Interim CFO of American Bitcoin (ABTC), Donald Trump’s bitcoin mining company, announced his official departure on August 4 to join Giga Energy, an AI and energy infrastructure developer, as Chief Business Officer and Interim CFO. Prusak stated that after "many years deeply involved in bitcoin operations," he is shifting his focus to "the power infrastructure currently limiting mining and AI computing capacity." Headquartered in Houston, Giga Energy has delivered over 6.5 GW of power infrastructure and is developing more than 500 MW of AI-ready data center capacity.
