Huoxing Finance reports that, according to the latest data from CryptoQuant, the 7-day cumulative deposit transactions of altcoins into exchanges rose to 78,000 on September 28, up approximately 160% from around 29,800 on September 14, reaching the highest level since October 2025. During the same period, the number of addresses depositing altcoins into exchanges increased from approximately 17,600 to 51,600, nearly tripling and hitting a one-year high. CryptoQuant noted that this surge in exchange inflows was broad-based and pointed out that when holders transfer tokens to exchanges, it often signals an intention to sell, suggesting potential selling pressure. Meanwhile, altcoins have recently outperformed Bitcoin. Bitcoin’s market cap share has fluctuated between 58% and 60.4% since May 27 and remains below 60%; altcoins outside the top 10 by market cap accounted for 9% of total market cap on September 27, the highest level since February this year.
