ME NEWS reports that on September 22 (UTC+8), at the 2026 Hangzhou Cloud Summit, Alibaba Cloud CTO Li Feifei systematically outlined the Agentic Cloud strategy. Alibaba Cloud is building scenarios around three core pillars—Model, Harness, and Context—and is launching new products including a next-generation cloud computing infrastructure, the enterprise-grade Agent development and governance platform AgentCore, Agent Sandbox, and the new high-performance storage solution CPFS. AgentCore standardizes and manages enterprise-grade Agent infrastructure, supporting long-running tasks, automatic retry, checkpoint recovery, and asynchronous execution, while providing secure execution environments, resource isolation, identity and access controls, and end-to-end audit trails to centrally manage assets such as models, MCP Servers, and Skills. Alibaba Cloud states that AgentCore can increase task completion rates by 99% and reduce total cost of ownership (TCO) by 70%. On the inference side, Alibaba Cloud introduced Tair KVCM, a KVCache management and scheduling system that unifies orchestration across multiple cache levels, achieving an effective hit rate of 99% and reducing cost per token by 50%. The accompanying storage acceleration engine, KVCacheStore, reduces first-token latency by 54% in customer production environments. In terms of computing power, Pingtouge unveiled the Zhenwu V900 chip at the same event, delivering three times the performance of its predecessor, the Zhenwu M890; a single cluster built on this chip can scale to 500,000 accelerators.
