ChainThink reports that on July 20, according to Bloomberg, the UK AI startup CuspAI has completed nearly $500 million in funding and announced the formation of the AI Materials Foundry consortium.
The alliance comprises over 48 members, including technology companies, industrial enterprises, and research institutions such as NVIDIA, Meta, and the Hyundai Motor Group.
CuspAI stated that the alliance will integrate members' computing power and research capabilities to jointly develop AI software aimed at helping researchers develop new materials for chip manufacturing and other industries at lower costs and faster speeds.
