ChainThink reports that on July 30, Freehand AI, an AI-powered invoice review and procurement automation platform, raised $75 million in funding, with the specific investors undisclosed.
Freehand AI states that its AI system has helped companies such as Meta, Unilever, and J&J identify unjustified charges across over 19 million invoices, resulting in cumulative savings of more than $260 million.
The company is also introducing a new service guarantee: if it fails to identify at least $500,000 in overpaid invoices for a client, it will pay the client $10,000.
Its system can automatically verify invoices, contracts, rate sheets, purchase orders, logistics documents, and historical transaction data, while handling disputes, supplier communications, and payment approvals.
