AI chip startup Etched has secured $300 million in a Series C funding round led by Sequoia Capital, with participation from a16z, SK Hynix, Jane Street, and Diffusion Capital. The funding values the company at $10.3 billion post-money, up from $5 billion in late 2025. Founded in 2022 by three Harvard dropouts, Etched delivers end-to-end AI inference solutions. Its first chip is already in production at TSMC, with customer testing underway. The company has secured $1 billion in orders and is collaborating with leading AI firms. This development adds to recent funding announcements across the AI and crypto sectors.
