Whale movement triggered a 10% drop in AAVE price on December 22 after a large seller (0xa92..611e) offloaded 230,350 tokens in 3 hours. The whale converted the tokens into 5,869.46 stETH ($17.52M) and 227.8 WBTC ($20.07M). The fear and greed index for DeFi tokens dipped shortly after the trade.
