Aave Holders Reject Brand Control Proposal in 55.29% Vote

Aave token holders rejected a proposal to hand brand control to the DAO, with 55.29% voting NAY. The token governance poll saw 41.21% abstain and 3.5% support the move. Critics, including Wintermute’s Evgeny Gaevoy and Lido’s Hasu, questioned the token model and fast-moving process. Stani Kulechov’s token purchase before the vote also drew scrutiny. The rejection leaves Aave’s token launch and governance structure unresolved.
