Odaily Planet Daily News: Aave founder Stani Kulechov posted on X that Aave’s recent delisting of low-adoption assets and gradual shutdown of certain networks should not be interpreted as a stance on any L1 or L2. This move aims to reduce Aave’s operational, technical, and economic risk exposure, allowing resources to be focused on higher-value market growth and more impactful initiatives such as Securities Finance.
He also emphasized that L2 remains a vital component of the Ethereum user experience, with Aave App’s Stable Vaults already adopting L2 as their accounting layer; additionally, networks like Avalanche play a crucial role in advancing the on-chain tokenization of institutional-grade real-world assets (RWA).
Previously, Aave founder Stani Kulechov posted that, after a comprehensive review, Aave will phase out 50 low-usage asset reserves across multiple deployments.
