ChainThink reports that on August 5, according to market data, the three major A-share indices opened lower but rose collectively, with the Sci-Tech Innovation 50 Index closing up 4.78%.
At the close, the Shanghai Composite Index rose 1.47%, the Shenzhen Component Index rose 1.86%, and the ChiNext Index rose 1.32%. The total trading volume on the Shanghai and Shenzhen stock exchanges reached RMB 2.66 trillion, an increase of RMB 446 billion compared to the previous trading day.
In terms of sectors, memory chip concepts remained strong throughout the day, with Zhengfan Technology rising 20% to reach its daily limit; photolithography machine concepts were active, with Woge Photoelectric achieving two consecutive daily limits; precious metal concepts strengthened, with Sichuan Gold and others hitting their daily limits.
