South Korean semiconductor deals totaling $950 billion failed to boost investor sentiment, with SK Hynix down 0.8% and the KOSPI index falling 0.93%. Samsung and Broadcom signed a $2 trillion agreement for high-end memory and AI chips, while SK Group plans $750 billion in memory chip deals with NVIDIA. Despite the massive figures, the market remains lukewarm, with the Fear & Greed Index showing no signs of a reversal. Traders are advised to monitor altcoins for potential shifts in risk appetite.

Huo Xing Finance reports that on July 25, the South Korean presidential office, Cheong Wa Dae, stated that, taking advantage of the San Francisco AI Summit, South Korean companies reached semiconductor partnerships with global tech giants totaling $950 billion. Specifically, Samsung Electronics signed a memorandum of understanding with Broadcom to collaborate over the next five years on the supply of $200 billion worth of advanced memory chips and AI chip wafer manufacturing; SK Group will pursue a five-year long-term supply agreement worth $750 billion with major global tech firms including NVIDIA. However, despite these large orders, South Korean equities remain under pressure: according to market data, SK Hynix opened higher this morning but has since declined, currently down over 0.8%. As a result, the South Korean KOSPI index fell 0.93%. Analysts note that the recurring pattern of “good news leads to price declines” demonstrates that global markets are no longer responding positively to AI-related利好.
