🧐 In lieu of all the messy race drama down here, here’s a fun thought: If we ever become an interstellar species, pushing deeper into space and farther from the Sun’s rays… our skin won’t stay the same. Sorry, race-war enthusiasts!!!! There will be no more melanin drama. Our skin will adapt and shift, probably going beautifully translucent, almost rainbowy, shimmering like we were built for the dark. All that surface level stuff fades out up there. Skin color becomes kinda pointless when you’re glowing under starlight✨
