There are many impressive AI projects on @base, and now on Robinhood, I’ve seen some fresh new ideas and gameplay! It feels like since MapleStory, no one’s talked about blockchain games anymore—will Robinhood spark a GameFi Summer? I just checked out the game demo from @Slippyclub, and it’s pretty cool~ — This is a blockchain game featuring 🐍 as its mascot, called SLIPPY SIEGE (currently playable on web, with Steam and iOS releases coming soon). The core gameplay is turn-based artillery combat—think Worms—but all the characters are armless meme snakes. Players choose one of 12 distinct Slippy snake personalities and take turns aiming, adjusting angle and power on destructible themed maps, blasting each other with absurd weapons. There are over 20 weapons, all themed around crypto and meme culture: Explosive Bear, Explosive Bull, Liquidation Bomb, Laser Eyes, Liquidation Miner, Black Swan, and more. Supports team play or free-for-all (FFA), with maps that become increasingly cratered from explosions.
